Group Personal Training, or “Boot Camp”, is a fantastic way to exercise & have fun at the same time!
Many people who start an exercise program often drop off after a month or so, and most of the time this is because of lack of motivation. This is why group training is such a great way to exercise. In an hour long session, you get to work hard, yet have fun as well. When everyone is in the same boat, everyone can work hard, yet complain together about “how much this hurts”! Everyone laughs together and everyone encourages each other so it is a fantastic environment to be in – work hard, play hard! Whereas if you were in the gym for an hour, or doing exercise at home, you are much more likely to “slack off” or just cruise along at a comfortable pace so you aren’t actually working as hard as you could, because without any stimulation or variety, exercise can quickly become boring.
Each session varies in the different exercises you do, that way you won’t get bored! Sessions may involve boxing, skipping, jogging, weight bearing exercises (using hand weights, barbells, medicine balls etc) & body weight exercises (sit ups, squats, push ups etc).
Whilst you’ll work hard, you’re encouraged to take it at your own level; everyone has different fitness levels so no-one is expected to keep up with anyone else – the only person you’re competing with is yourself!
Participants can be of any age, shape, size or fitness level and by the end of each session, everyone feels like they’ve had a great workout! The participants are all there for the same reasons, to get fit, lose body fat, tone up, increase strength & energy levels – the rewards and benefits are endless!
Most people like to be pushed, we are all capable of great things with a little motivation, but no-one is ever pushed beyond their limits – there is certainly no yelling & screaming used to “encourage” you!
People’s biggest fear seems to be that, “I’m not fit enough or strong enough”, but everyone needs to start somewhere! This is HOW you get fit & strong – you don’t need to get fitter & stronger to come in the first place?!
There has not been a participant yet who has only been once – which speaks mountains.
