I joined Bootcamp with Carmen on the 16th of June this year. I was fairly fit but unhappy with my size and weight, slowly over the last 5 years I have gained 10 kilos and have tried everything to lose the weight.
Before joing Carmen Get Fit, I took soccer up again competitively and joined one of those 30 minute ladies gyms, with the hope that I would lose the 10 kilos. Although I had some small results with weight loss and losing cm’s at first with the ladies gym, things got very boring. And I mean BORING! I got sick of doing the same circuit workout three times a week and then the results stopped. It was as if my body got used to the same boring workout and it wasn’t as effective anymore. I needed something different, more challenging and enjoyable. Also I was getting desperate as my wedding day was fast approaching.
When I first heard about Carmen and her bootcamp style workouts I was a little scared at first but also excited. My first workouts were the hardest I have ever done but I felt so good about myself afterwards. After 6 weeks, I started noticing the cm’s melting away and nicely shaped muscles. The real compliment was when friends and my fiancé noticed the change in me and my size. I have loads of energy, I feel terrific, strong and have lost 6cm’s off my waist, 7cm’s off my hips and I’ve lost 4.2 kilos, so far (in 9weeks). Also my soccer game has improved dramatically, I can play a whole 90 minute match and I am super fit on the soccer field.
I’m nearly half way there to my goal weight and its all thanks to Carmen, who is a fantastic motivator and truly knows what she’s doing. I currently do two bootcamp sessions and one personal training session a week with Carmen, but I buddy up with my sister Wendy. Carmen always mixes things up, every workout is fun and challenging. The group of people (Bootcampees) are all down to earth and friendly as well.
I recommend Carmen’s Bootcamp to anyone who wants to feel good, look fantastic and have a great time. You don’t have to be a super fit person, boot camp is for all types of fitness levels and I would like to thank Carmen for all her support and excellent work.

I thoroughly enjoy my boot camp sessions each week. I even look forward to seeing Carmen! With her great guidance and support I have lost weight, toned up, increased my energy level and improved my state of mind. I have a great feeling of accomplishment when I get to the end of a class and I am totally worn out. The sore and tender muscles that follow have fast become a welcoming feeling as I know I have pushed myself hard. Boot Camp allows me some really valuable “me” time that just happens to be a big benefit to my health and well being.

Hi my name is Sue and when I heard the words “Boot Camp” I thought, “no way!” BUT it is great! You can meet lots of people, all different shapes, sizes, and fitness levels, where else can you have a good laugh and most of all burn those CALORIES?!?! For me it is a great way to clear the mind and relieve some stress and you could not ask for a better instructor than Carmen, yes she will push you but at the end of the day YOU work for YOU! So don’t be shy and don’t judge come and find out for yourself I did and I feel great!!

We really enjoy the boot camp sessions. Lisa even did some of the sessions whilst pregnant, she just didn’t do the real hard stuff! You work as hard or as easy as you want and if you want to push yourself there is always someone in the group that is fitter than you that you can try to keep up with or you just compete against yourself with the beep test being a regular item in the session it is easy to see your fitness grow. Carmen ensures there is a lot of variety from week to week so we are always being challenged in a new way and it’s never the same part of your body that is sore afterwards when you have worked really hard. It’s a great social experience too with all the people being friendly and encouraging. We travel from Croydon which is 40 minutes away from where the sessions are held each week, but it’s worth it! We only wish we lived closer so we could join in more often rather than just the Saturday mornings. If you want to get fit and stay motivated, then this is perfect. I loved every session as it is always changing and forever challenging. I would recommend it for young and old and for any level of fitness.

Carmens Bootcamp is one of the highlights of my Saturday mornings, they are fun, rewarding, and keeps me fit to my capability. Carmen allows you to go at your own pace and makes all the activities enjoyable and fun, and always keeps me going back for more. You meet new people all the time with different levels of fitness, which at times, we all inspire each other to achieve our own personal goals…. You should try Carmen Get Fit bootcamp, its so rewarding and beneficial to anyone that wants to get fit.

Carmen’s boot camp sessions are hard, motivating and never the same! Carmen knows how to get the best out of you so that you are pushing yourself to the limits and achieving results at the same time. Since starting boot camp with Carmen, I have noticed that I am fitter, leaner, stronger and more toned. Results are so visible that now my fiancé wants to join!
Carmen’s personal training sessions are even harder but definitely worth it! If you’re serious about your fitness and achieving your fitness goal then I would recommend Carmen anytime. She is very professional and always accommodating.

I found the boot camp sessions to be fantastic. They not only helped me to lose the unwanted kilos but improved my fitness dramatically. I was not even able to run a complete lap of the oval when I first started and now I can run 2 full laps without stopping. The sessions are a lot of fun and now I can’t wait to get out there.

Cannot believe how unfit I am but I’m sure by the end of it all I will be in great shape.
Well worth getting up at 5.30 3 times a week…. (and Saturday mornings)

I have been attending Carmen Get Fit Boot Camps 3 mornings per week and am so excited to say that I am halfway to my weight-loss goal – I’ve lost 12kgs and 10cms since starting the Boot Camp program! I have also become much fitter. At my first session, I struggled to jog half-way around a football oval. Now with my increased fitness, I recently managed to jog for 3.8kms without stopping!
Boot Camps are a great way to lose weight and get fit. Carmen ensures that the exercises vary from session to session, working different muscle groups and areas of the body. Depending on the day, we can use weights, do some boxing, some jogging or body-weight resistant exercises. And group exercise is great as everyone encourages each other.
Carmen Get Fit Boot Camps have helped me to lose weight, get fit and (most importantly) be happier with my body!
